Judy and Brad Niemeyer designed the layout,instructions and foundation papers for Osprey's Nest at the Lake Cabin. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing and traditional piecing are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed. Osprey's Nest at the Lake Cabin pattern is a log cabin with an insert of flying geese. This is a great way to use some of your stash. All sewing levels will be successful doing this pattern. Techniques Used: Floating points, stacking and chain piecing techniques, cutting techniques,and curved paper piecing.
