Pepperdish is a quilt designed in 2012 that is 42” x 42” in size. The project is an excellent introduction to several of Judy’s techniques that are used over and over again in her Designs. The quilt is assembled using curved seams, floating points, and Judy’s organizational process. You will sew all the units first, then assemble the quilt top. Once that is complete, you start your appliqué. Stitch N Peel stabilizer sheets are included for the appliqué portion of the quilt. You can sew these appliqués using a zig-zag or blanket stitch sewing machine. You can also sew them on by hand if you like. You will see appliqué in so many of theQuiltworx projects, so I chose this one to get you started with this technique.
